Prospective Students
On this page you will find information for students at all levels interested in joining the Chandler lab
Undergraduate Research
Students that apply to the Chandler Lab should meet the following expectations:
- have taken at least BIOL 150 or 151 and plan to take BIOL 400, 401, or 612
- commit at least 10-15 hours to the lab per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during the summer
- initiative to find research funding particularly over the summer
- attain independence and understanding of the research being carried out
- attend weekly lab meetings and recommended seminars
- give an end of semester written report and lab presentation
PhD Students
The Chandler Lab has positions available for talented, motivated, and enthusiastic graduate students! The Chandler Lab is only able to take graduate students who have been admitted to graduate programs in Molecular Biosciences or Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
Postdoctoral Positions
If you are interested in conducting postdoctoral research in the Chandler Lab, contact the PI with a concise email explaining why you believe you would be a good fit for the lab.
